Kayaking

Marquette offers many locations for the kayaking adventurist. The Lake Superior Hiawatha Water Trail from Munising through Marquette to Big Bay is very highly rated as a great adventure for sea kayaking. Looking for a shorter trip I suggest taking a tour along the Black Rocks or Presque Isle Park.

If you feel that is a little too risky, Marquette offers plenty of inland rivers and lakes. The Greenwood Reservoir located approximately 10 miles southwest of Ishpeming offers many islands and coves for your exploration.
